1.How many days does one need for acclimatization in Ladakh.?
Ans.You need at least 24 hrs complete rest if you are coming by flight and no need if you come by road.

Ans.Leh, the capital city is situated at an altitude of 3500mts above sea level and while in trekking you will be on as high as 5400mts.

3.How many days I will need to travel to Ladakh?
Ans.You can have custom made itenerary in Ladakh that would ranges from 4 days to 30 days.

Ans.It could cost as much as 100$ per day to as low as 20$ per day, depanding on the service ,your requirements and tour itinerary

Ans.Children above the age of three years old normally may not have problems.

6.Is communication facility available?
Ans.Yes,Leh and surrounding villages have domestic and international telephones facilities. Leh town also has internet facility.

AnsYes,it is absoutlely safe to travel alone in Ladakh. Ladakh has one of the lowest crime rates in South Asia.

8.Is money changing facility available?
Ans.Yes you can either go to banks or go to any money changer dotted across Fort Road in Leh City. But credit card are normally not accepted.

9.what is the mode of transportation in Ladakh?
Ans.Bus services to only some routes are available .Taxis are available for all routes.This is the best mode of transport.Only 4 passanger are allowed in one Taxi.

10.If there is an emergency,are the hospital well equipped to tackle the problems?
Ans.Yes,they are well equipped to tackles most of the emergencies.

11.Is medical facility available on treks?
Ans.Only basic medicines for minor sickness and infection are available in some big villages on the trekking routes.

12.With whom should I make my travel arrangements with?
Ans.You should always make your travel arrangement with a reputed travel company and not fromany person on the road offering you cheap price.

13.What clothing should I bring?
Ans.Bring light warm clothes and rain coat. Sun Glasses is a must.

14.Can the treks be undertaken without any guide or help?
Ans.No,Ladakh is difrent from all other places,trekking trails are not marked ,the mountains are very high and the are no villages on the route.It is better to pay some thing then to pay for your life.

15.Where do I throw my garbage on trek?
Ans.Please bring all your garbage back to Leh for proper disposable.So that the environment of Ladakh can be keept clean.
